I live in Embassy Court and know that it IS listed and people have been discussing renovation for many years. Yes the outside of the building is disgusting but i still find the structure and shape absolutely beautiful. I am proud to live there.

wonderful example of international style and very fluid for a building of that style built in Britain at that time.. mainly found such examples in central Europe and Russia. However, having just visited it can assure you that builing is in severe need of structural attention.. corroding badly, and original features disappearing fast.. rather like sister buildings in Moscow and Czech Republic ( outside Prague)...too new to warrant the same attention as Brighton Pav. or Pier, and as such extremely vulnerable. Do you know if the building is listed or if it is protected from major redeveloping .. it lies on what I imagine is an extremely valuable site on the sea front which makes property development a very real cause for concern???
