Geodesic Dome at Expo '67

This geo­de­sic dome was built for the United Sta­tes pa­vil­lion at Expo '67, the world's fair in Mon­tréal, Ca­nada. Geo­de­sic domes have no in­ter­nal sup­ports, which makes them ideal struc­tu­res for hol­ding large groups of people. They are made up of stan­dar­di­zed, in­ter­lo­cking shapes that can be as­sem­bled and taken apart quickly.
