The sur­roun­ding vi­ney­ards cover the whole moun­ta­in­side. The rows of gra­pes are punc­tua­ted by vine cel­lars with whi­te­wa­s­hed walls and that­ched roofs. The buil­ding its­elf con­sists of a pub and a re­stau­rant, as well as the usual ser­vice areas. The »brows« above the win­dows and the bot­tom of the walls are de­co­ra­ted with peb­bles pres­sed into the building's sur­face on both the in­side and the outs­ide. This is the same image as in Ve­lence. The open roofs shift away from each other a little. Si­mi­larly, the struc­ture for the ser­vice and ca­te­ring sec­tions are dis­tinctly di­vi­ded ac­cor­ding to how their func­tion chan­ges. The same kind of me­ta­mor­pho­sis of a right angle-influenced by the de­mands of function-can also be found in the work of Alvar Aalto.
