The U-shaped School of Edu­ca­tion plan­ned by Jenő Lech­ner stands op­po­site the cul­tu­ral centre. The cul­tu­ral centre is also U-shaped, and the cour­ty­ards of both buil­dings lie along the same axis. To de­scribe the floor plan’s basic de­sign: the large halls form the head, the neu­tral zone is for ever­y­day use, while the lower stems are where the small rooms and their sub­ord­i­na­ting func­tions can be found.
