A prominent example of these school-palaces is the so - called Újkollégium (New College), the former Calvinist Grammar School and Academy of Law. It was built according to the plans of Valér Mende and Lajos Dombi between 1911 and 1913. The ceramics of the facade were manufactured by the world-famous Zsolnay Factory in Pécs. The Calvinist congregation and its museum, library and the Calvinist School can be found here. The New College was renovated at the beginning of the 1980s.
