Charles E[li] Fox

Fox was a pupil of the Mas­sa­chu­setts In­sti­tute of Tech­no­logy. He was as­so­cia­ted with the firms of Hola­b­ird & Roche, 1891-1905; Mar­shall and Fox, 1905-24. His awards in­clu­ded the Ame­ri­can In­sti­tute of Ar­chi­tects chap­ter prize for the de­sign of the Blacks­tone Hotel in Chi­cago. He is re­pre­sen­ted in Chi­cago by the Drake Hotel, Ed­ge­wa­ter Beach Hotel, She­ridan Trust and Sa­vings Bank Buil­ding, Lake Shore Trust and Sa­vings Bank Buil­ding, Schaff Buil­ding, Phil­adel­phia, Penn­syl­va­nia, and Nor­thwes­tern Mu­tual Life In­surance Buil­ding, Mil­wau­kee, Wis­con­sin.
