Young was graduated from the Ecole des Beaux-Arts in Paris and attended the University of Heidelberg. Mr. Young was on the architectural board for the St. Louis and Trans-Mississippi Expositions. As a member of the firm of Eames & Young since 1885, he collaborated in the design of the Federal prisons at Atlanta and Leavenworth. He designed the Masonic Temple, University Club, and other prominent St. Louis buildings.
